I am grateful to be part of an organization that puts such a huge emphasis on service.
I am grateful for the gift of service, for a healthy body and hands that can help, on this week of Thanksgiving.

This is beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
I live in Boston and went to Queens on Saturday to help; it was an amazing day. I'm hoping to go back this Saturday.
My husband and I spent part of our summer, with friends, in Sea Bright, NJ, which has essentially been wiped off the map.
Thanks so much for sharing! I think it's easy to forget that natural disasters that hit home require help and service, too.
Glad to see you're back Nicole! For as horrible as natural disasters like Sandy are, it is so heart-warming to see perfect strangers rally together and serve each other in such meaningful ways. Thanks for posting this!
Thanks for sharing! My stake was involved in this service. Everyone arrived at church on Sunday in work clothes and boots and with sholves and gloves. Normal church schedule was canceled and instead everyone headed down to Rockaway on a bus. It was such a good feeling to serve the community and work together to help those who need a hand from all the damage that happened.
